Nearly everyone in my family works with their hands – mostly working wood – but it took 20 years and a detour through software development, graphic design and art direction before I picked up the trade professionally. The tools are different now but the process is very much the same: there’s inspiration, experiment, refinement, and production. Problem solving, that is, in a creative way.

As a woodworker, I’m largely self-taught. Like many, my work began with 18th and early 19th century reproductions. And, like many, my work has evolved. What has not changed is my love of quality materials, traditional joinery, and craftsmanship to last for all time.
